Those first three seconds of connection across a digital screen were enough to change the entire trajectory of my life. In the romantic, light-filled atmosphere of France, I proved that a true soul bond knows no physical boundaries. This meeting was more than just a lucky click in time. It was a profound internal architecture for a spirit that had finally found its missing resonance across the miles. Understanding the power of those three seconds helps me process the beauty of finding true partnership at forty-five. As a highly sensitive person, I felt the depth of our bond before we ever touched in person. It turns old tectonic loneliness into a stable, Malachite peace. Within these fated intervals, the spirit finally finds its authentic rhythm. We move from virtual shadows to the clarity of a real, enduring marriage.

A couple in Paris looks at a screen, symbolizing three seconds of love.

Tri sekunde

✦

Trois secondes

✦

Three Seconds

✦
I saw your face three seconds on the screen and thought you must have made a mistake. People like that don’t look for me. But I clicked yes. Out of curiosity. And out of some silent hope I had carried within me for years. We talked for a long time. As if we already knew each other. As if distance has no real measure when two people listen to one another. I didn’t see you, but I felt you. And that was enough while for others it was nothing.
Four years later we met in Paris. Five days of reality did not change what was already certain — it only made it visible. Then I had to go far away. Too far for a hug, but not for us. For seven months we shared days through the screen, without a schedule, without sleep, always with the same thought: that this must not be lost.
When we met again, we didn’t wait. We got married as if we had been doing it forever. Today, years later, we live that same love that started in three seconds and never rushed to become anything else.
Maybe love doesn’t ask for signs or miracles.
Maybe it only asks that we recognize it when it appears
and remain faithful to it.
