The generation in-between writing belongs to two worlds. We remember the past and see the future. Technology changes how we talk. But the heart always speaks the same language. I love the magic of modern tools. I also value the depth of old ways. This is our unique path in time. We are the bridge between eras. The generation in-between writing: Welcome to my reflection on living between two eras. As a soul geologist, I find our position in history fascinating. We are the generation in-between writing and advanced technology. We are the ones who remember the smell of fresh ink on paper and the sound of a rotary phone. Yet, we are also the ones navigating the complex world of AI, screens, and instant messaging. This unique position allows us to be a bridge between worlds. We understand the depth of old ways and the magic of modern tools. However, this transition has changed how we communicate.

Ljudi bi i dalje vodili duge razgovore da ih brzina života nije pretekla, da ekrani nisu zauzeli prostor gdje su nekad stajale riječi, pogledi i tišina.
Danas više ne šutimo jer nemamo što reći, nego jer se bojimo kako će ono izrečeno biti shvaćeno. Zato biramo neutralnost, a distanca nam postaje sigurnija od iskrenosti.
Ja zato pišem. Poezija mi nastaje kada uhvatim istinu u jednoj riječi i pustim je da se sama nadograđuje u tekst koji govori moje osjećaje, moja razmišljanja, moju stranu svijeta.
Razgovori blijede jer smo se navikli na površnost, jer za dubinu treba vrijeme, prisutnost i hrabrost, a mi danas jedva imamo i pažnju. Čak i kad pričamo, često ne slušamo. I ljudi to osjete. Pa se polako povlače.
Ipak, ovo vrijeme meni nije gore. Naprotiv. Imam slobodu izražavanja, imam tehnologiju da saznam sve što me zanima. Ne treba mi više susjed da mi objasni kako se nešto gradi ili pravi — smiješno, ali istinito.
Mi smo generacija između. Ona koja je živjela bez tehnologije i ona koja sada živi s njom. Ne posljednja — nego prva koja bira.
Ja idem u korak s vremenom. Ali ne ostavljam sebe iza.
Les gens auraient encore de longues conversations si la vitesse de la vie ne les avait pas dépassés, si les écrans n’avaient pas pris la place où se tenaient autrefois les mots, les regards et le silence.
Aujourd’hui, nous ne nous taisons plus parce que nous n’avons rien à dire, mais parce que nous avons peur de la façon dont ce qui est dit sera compris. C’est pourquoi nous choisissons la neutralité.
C’est pour cela que j’écris. Ma poésie naît quand je capture la vérité dans un mot et que je la laisse s’exprimer dans mon texte, ma propre vision du monde.
Pourtant, ce temps n’est pas pire pour moi. Au contraire. J’ai la liberté d’expression et la technologie pour apprendre.
Nous sommes la génération intermédiaire. Celle qui a vécu sans technologie et celle qui vit maintenant avec elle. Pas la dernière — mais la première qui choisit.
Je marche avec mon temps. Mais je ne me laisse pas derrière.
People would still have long conversations if the speed of life hadn’t overtaken them, if screens hadn’t taken the space where words, glances, and silence once stood.
Today we no longer stay silent because we have nothing to say, but because we are afraid of how what is said will be understood. Distance becomes safer than sincerity.
That is why I write. My poetry arises when I catch the truth in a single word and let it build itself into a text that speaks my thoughts and my side of the world.
However, this time is not worse for me. On the contrary. I have freedom of expression and technology to learn everything that interests me.
We are the generation in-between. The one that lived without technology and the one that now lives with it. Not the last — but the first to choose.
I keep step with the times. But I don’t leave myself behind.
