I Did Not Give Up: Welcome to my digital sanctuary and my personal manifesto of survival. In this reflection, I share the most vital lesson of my life: I Did Not Give Up even when the tectonic shifts of existence threatened to destroy my foundation. As a soul geologist and former mineralogy engineer, I have spent decades analyzing the endurance of materials under immense pressure. I learned that diamonds are not created in easy environments; they are forged in total darkness and extreme heat. Similarly, my own spirit was tested by the brutal eruptions of breast cancer, a difficult divorce, and the loss of my homeland and parents. There were nights when fear whispered that it was time to surrender, but my inner fire was always stronger than the cold.
The Internal Architecture of Resilience
Surviving these challenges taught me that being broken is not the same as being defeated. I realized that I Did Not Give Up because I chose to stand tall even when my world was falling apart. This process of rebuilding is what I call the crystallization of dignity. Instead of seeking temporary escapes or numbing my pain with vices, I chose to remain present and conscious. Consequently, I learned how to process my wounds until they stopped hurting. Today, living in the Malachite peace of France at 62, I no longer feel the need to explain my scars. They are the tectonic lines of my victory. I chose dignity over permission, and that choice has made all the difference in my emotional geology.
A Manifesto for the Brave Soul
I am not sharing this story because it was easy. I am sharing it because I want every woman to know that she is stronger than she thinks. We all face storms that threaten to sink our ships, but we must choose to walk the stone streets with a warm heart. I Did Not Give Up, and neither should you. My books, such as “Tectonics of the Heart,” serve as a guide for those navigating their own winters. Every day is a new opportunity to choose yourself and build a life from that choice. I invite you to read my verses in Croatian, French, and English. Let these words be a reminder that your story is still being written and that light always returns to the persistent soul. Thank you for joining me in this excavation of strength with Magma Star.
