Between Magma and Diamond is the story behind my name, Magma Star. Many people ask me what it means. For me, it is the process of turning pain into beauty. When I write, I go deep into my emotions. It is a place of heat and pressure. In geology, diamonds are formed deep in the earth under extreme conditions. My emotions are the same. This story, Between Magma and Diamond, explains how honesty becomes light.

Sometimes I find a diamond, and sometimes I find graphite. It all depends on how deep I can go. Under the pressure of life, my feelings crystallize. My peace is my discipline. I choose to breathe and stay in the present moment. This is how I survive and grow. I have published many books, but my life is my most important story. To understand how the earth creates such beauty from heat, you can read about the geological formation of diamonds. Below, I invite you to travel with me from the heat of the magma to the light of the stars.

Mnogi me pitaju što zapravo znači ime Magma Star.
Ponekad iznesem dijamant, a ponekad grafit. Sve ovisi o tome koliko sam duboko uspjela zaroniti i je li me tko omeo dok sam tražila tu čistu, prozirnu srž. Pod pritiskom života, moje emocije se kristaliziraju. Ako me netko prekine u tom rudarenju, ako dopustim vanjskom svijetu da me omete, dijamant ostane nedorečen ili postane običan grafit.

U knjizi Find the Way poručujem svima: Vjeruj u ljubav.
No, postoji i ona druga strana ljubavi — ona koju moramo imati prema sebi.

Between Magma and Diamond:
Why I Write from the Deep

Many ask me what the name Magma Star actually means. For me, it is not just a name — it is the process of turning pain into beauty.
When I write, I descend to where it is hot, where emotions boil and give no rest. I go into those depths alone, in the dark, under incredible pressure and temperature. Because the truth is like magma: it is created deep in the bowels of the earth, and when the channels open, it erupts with a force that cannot be stopped. It is a moment of absolute honesty that tolerates no censorship.
Sometimes I bring out a diamond, and sometimes graphite. It all depends on how deep I managed to dive and whether someone distracted me while I was looking for that pure, transparent core. Under the pressure of life, my emotions crystallize. But when I bring that truth to the surface, it is so strong that it flies straight into the sky. Stronger than any lie, stronger than any fear. My words then become stars — they become Magma Star.

My peace is my ultimate discipline

People think meditation is just sitting in silence. For me, meditation is a way of survival. While I drive in the car, while I watch the rushing world through the window, I consciously choose to stop. I breathe in this moment. I see colors as they are, I feel scents and tones without the filter of past worries or future fears.
In that “present moment,” my mind is in peak form. It is a state where there is no burden. It is that feeling when you are “top” in your own skin, when you rule your peace instead of unrest ruling you.

Lessons learned through fire

I have five printed books on Amazon and three digital editions behind me, but my most important book is the one I wrote with my own life. In the book Find the Way, I tell everyone: Believe in love. Because without love, all the diamonds in this world are just cold stones.
But there is also the other side of love — the one we must have for ourselves. If I met my younger self today, the one who was just standing at the door of a difficult marriage and even more difficult diagnoses, I would tell her: “Honey, you should have left earlier. You should have known that your worth does not depend on how much burden you can carry on your back.”
To my daughter, and to every young woman of 18, I repeat today: Do not rush. Do not marry your first boyfriend just because you think you should. Explore, travel through your feelings, learn what it means to truly receive love, not just give it until you run dry.
Today I choose to be both magma and a star.
I choose the depth that boils and the light that guides.
Because now I know — I am the one who holds the keys to all the doors I want to open.
