Between the Microscope and the Silence, I found my true calling as a writer. My journey started in Vancouver as a mineralogy engineer. Today, as a soul geologist, I explore the inner world instead of stones. I realized that Between the Microscope and the Silence, there is a space where inspiration is born. This is my morning routine and my sacred writing process. We find our essence when we look closely at the structures of our heart.

Nekada sam pod mikroskopom tražila materijalno bogatstvo skriveno u hladnom kamenu.

Comment j’ai appris à voir l’invisible

Between the Microscope and the Silence:
How I Learned to See the Invisible

Many know me today as a poet, but my past is carved in rocks and permafrost. For years, my world was limited to the 14th floor of a skyscraper right in the center of Vancouver. There, in the sterile silence of the office, my desk had to be as clean as a teardrop.
As a mineralogist, I searched for diamond indicators – those tiny, almost invisible grains hidden in the sample. One wrong move, one spilled grain, and the entire history hidden in the stone would be irretrievably lost. That is why my space was a sanctuary of order. The microscope was my only window into a world the ordinary eye cannot see.
Today, in sunny France, my workspace looks almost the same, but my mission is different. Although I no longer search for minerals, that engineering discipline still flows through my veins. My ritual begins at five in the morning, while the world is still deeply asleep. In that sacred silence, as the scent of tea mixes with morning meditation and a feeling of gratitude, I prepare my space.
Order on the desk is peace in the mind. A clean surface is freedom for the heart.
Only when everything is in its place do I open my laptop. That feeling is incredible – the impatience to meet my verses again, to read what I wrote in a trance last night. Sometimes I surprise myself; I wonder if it really came out of me or if some higher force guided my fingers. Often in the evening, while reading my new posts, I am amazed at how good they are and I feel a real, genuine pride in myself.
I used to look under the microscope for material wealth hidden in cold stone. Today, through writing, I look for diamonds in the human soul.

I may no longer be a servant to clocks and precise dials, but I am still an explorer. The only difference is that my laboratory is now in my heart, and the results of my work are no longer in safes, but in your eyes as you read my words.
