The Architecture of a Night Owl’s Soul is built in the quiet hours of the night. While the world sleeps, I find my truest voice as a writer. There is a specific kind of magic that happens when the stars are out and the only sound is the rhythm of my own thoughts. This is when The Architecture of a Night Owl’s Soul reveals its hidden rooms and secret corridors. It is a space where memories of the Adriatic Sea meet the silent streets of Paris, creating a bridge between my past and my present.
For me, writing is a form of soul geology. I have to dig deep into the layers of my experience to find the diamonds of truth. As a “nocturnal bird,” I feel a surge of energy when the sun goes down. The darkness doesn’t feel heavy; it feels like a soft blanket that allows my creativity to breathe. It is in these moments that I find the strength to share my stories of survival and feminine power.
We all have our own internal structure, a way we process the world. If you are someone who finds clarity in the moonlight, embrace it. Do not try to fit into the daylight world’s schedule if your soul thrives in the shadows. Trust your unique process and let your inner architecture guide you toward your most authentic self. Your night is not empty; it is full of the starlight of your own potential.
Arhitektura noćne duše
Zašto moja magma ne čeka jutro
“Ne diraj me sada, radim.
Kada ta “ideja” stigne prije spavanja, postajem nepomična.
Istina je jednostavna: pisanje me čisti.
Pisanje je jedino mjesto gdje mogu uzeti “prljavštinu” životnih borbi i pretvoriti je u nešto prozirno, svijetlo i nesalomljivo — poput dijamanta.
Plivanje bez morskih pasa: Dalmatinska krv
Preživjela sam zdravstvene oluje i potrese srca.
Ja nisam guru, i nisam sudac.
Još uvijek hodam, i još uvijek pišem. Ako nađete svoj odraz u mojim redovima, znajte da niste sami.”
Ne nudim vam kartu ni skup pravila. Nudim vam val.
“Don’t touch me now, I’m working. I have to finish this.” These are the words my husband often hears when the clock strikes midnight. When a thought strikes my mind, it doesn’t matter if I’ve been working since dawn. I don’t wait for tomorrow. I don’t move for a glass of water, and I certainly don’t move for sleep. In those moments, I am not just a writer; I am a channel for something much deeper.
The Midnight Magma: An Unstoppable Eruption
Most people think writing is a hobby, a gentle pastime to be done with a cup of tea. For me, it is a geological eruption. Even though I work from morning until evening, my most honest thoughts often wait for the total silence of the night to surface.
When that “idea” arrives before bed, I become immovable. There is a nervous, almost holy energy—a fire that won’t let me rest until every word is in its place. It’s a trance where the pressure of the world, the bills, the chores, and the expectations of others simply disappear. Only the rhythm of the keyboard remains. My husband calls it stubbornness; I call it honoring the magma before it cools into stone. If I don’t catch it now, the truth might change its shape by morning.
The Victory of the Page: Why I Rise Lighter
People ask me why I write about everything—from a simple flower or a blue sky to the darkest scars of cancer, adoption, or betrayal. The truth is simple: pisanje me čisti (writing cleanses me).
I don’t just write to record events; I write to survive them. Every time I rise from my chair after a long session, I feel physically lighter. It’s as if my very footsteps become easier on the ground, as if the gravity of life has lost its hold on me. Whether I was diving into a memory of profound pain or a vision of pure beauty, I emerge from the process with both hands raised in the air like a marathon runner crossing the finish line. I don’t just survive my stories; I win. Writing is the only place where I can take the “dirt” of life’s struggles and turn it into something transparent, bright, and unbreakable—like a diamond.
Swimming Without Sharks: The Dalmatian Blood
I am a child of the Dalmatian coast. The Adriatic Sea is warm, clear, and deep—and so is my soul. Many writers are afraid of what they might find when they dive deep into their subconscious. They fear the monsters, the “sharks” of their past, or the skeletons hidden in the wreckage of their old lives.
But I don’t. I have reached a point in my life where I am completely open with myself. There are no hidden dangers in my depths because I have already looked every monster in the eye and called it by its name. I have survived the storms of health and the earthquakes of the heart. What I bring to the surface now isn’t fear; it is the most precious and expensive word in any language: The Truth. My writing is my diving suit. It allows me to reach the cold, dark bottom, grab that pearl of truth, and bring it back to the sun-drenched shore.
A Wave, Not a Lecture
When my words reach you, I don’t want you to feel like I am preaching. I am not a guru, and I am not a judge. I am just a woman who has lived, suffered, and decided to keep her heart open. I have lived a life full of challenges that could have easily turned me bitter or full of vices. Yet, I chose the path of positive energy.
To the woman standing on the shore—the one fighting a silent battle with illness, the one mourning a love that died, or the one feeling invisible—my message is simple: “If I could find my way back to the light, so can you.”
I don’t offer you a map or a set of rules. I offer you a wave. It might be cold, it might be powerful, and it might shake you, but it will always be clean. And it will always be the truth.
