The courage to believe in the inherent goodness of people is a quiet, radical act of strength. In the serene landscapes of my life in France, I found that being gentle is not a sign of weakness. This perspective is more than just a childhood trait. It is a profound internal architecture for an adult soul that chooses to protect its inner spark. Understanding the courage to believe helps me process a world that often feels harsh or cynical. As a highly sensitive person, I see the light that remains even in the deepest tectonic shadows. It turns old fractures of doubt into a stable, Malachite peace. Within these hopeful intervals, the spirit finally finds its true home. We move from the coldness of maturity to the warmth of authentic presence. I choose the quiet elegance of an open heart. This path is a mineral-rich space for our genuine growth. By trusting, we reclaim our radiant, enduring strength.

To believe is courage: A hand protecting a spark of light in the darkness, symbolizing the preservation of goodness and faith in people.

Život nas oblikuje, ponekad i kvari,
Ipak, biram.
Biram da ostanem budna, ali ne ogorčena.
Oprezna, ali ne zatvorena.
Nježna, ali ne slijepa.
Vjerna sebi.
Dok smo živi, u svakome od nas postoji iskra.
Dobrote. Ljubavi.

To Believe Is Courage

To believe that people are good today requires courage.
Courage to smile at a stranger,
to say “good morning” in a doubting world.
We are all born as children of love —
without envy, without malice, pure as the morning.
Growing up, we change.
Life shapes us, sometimes breaks us,
until it slowly teaches us caution.
My faith was not born out of habit.
It came with years, with falls.
I realized that faith comes along with life —
not as a label, but as an inner support.
I don’t believe in words without deeds.
Because kindness is not spoken, it is lived.
I am aware that there are those
who take, who break,
who feed on other people’s freedom.
That is why it is difficult today to remain human
with the qualities of an innocent child in an adult world.
Still, I choose.
I choose to stay awake, but not bitter.
Cautious, but not closed.
Gentle, but not blind.
True to myself.
As long as we are alive, there is a spark in each of us.
Of kindness. Of love. Of feeling.

It is up to us whether we will keep it
or extinguish it.
