Diving into Truth: How I stopped swimming in the shallows

Every time I open Medium, I am faced with a sea of texts. Indeed, some people just lie on the beach, watching the waves and writing about what is safe, polished, and attractive to everyone. Others swim cautiously in the shallows, keeping their feet on the bottom so as not to lose the ground beneath them.
But, from time to time, I come across someone who dives. Specifically, I always strip myself bare in my writing. My writing towards the theme, towards myself, is actually like a diver who heads into the depths. You can dive, but you cannot stay too long because at some point you run out of air. Sometimes the pressure from all sides starts to squeeze you, and the cold reminds you of all those layers you have built and hidden for years. This is my process of **diving into truth**.
Still, you must admit—at least I dive. I go into those hidden, unexplored depths of my own soul, while a small million people just swim on the surface without thinking about what secrets are hidden below. And of course, there are those who just lie on the warm sand, enjoy the sun, read other people’s stories, comment, and observe others from the shore. Indeed, this is all part of our shared azure.

The Unstoppable Rhythm of the Deep

Because, let’s be honest, who else wants to spend their whole life in the shallows? Once you learn to dive, when you feel that silence and the vast expanse under the water, something unstoppable wakes up in you. Every new morning brings the same desire—to dive again, to swim, to let the currents carry you. And sometimes, quite intentionally, you just want to lie on the beach, watch others, read other people’s lines, and leave them a warm mark in the comments. This is a vital layer of my Internal Crystallization.
Writing for a large audience, which we are often told about in successful articles on Medium, brings its own pressures. We know about the fear of visibility, about wrong interpretations, and about that quiet silence when an article passes without an echo. But, all of these are just surface currents. Therefore, **diving into truth** requires ignoring the noise above.

The Soul Geologist’s Descent

The true essence of a writer is not in the number of views, nor in hunting for algorithms. The true essence of a writer is in the courage to take off the armor, hold your breath, and dive straight into the truth. Even then when you know that you will lack air for a moment. Because at the end of the day, those who have ever tasted those depths never want to return to the shallow shore again. This is part of my Manifesto of Steel and Crystals.
And the most beautiful thing in all of that is when from the other side of the ocean, from your own azure, you see other fellow divers. Those with whom we recognize each other without too many words, with whom we share breath and silent solidarity. To connect with them, to read their texts, to watch them diving and leave traces of support in the comments—that is what makes this author’s path of **diving into truth** magical. Slijedom toga, we are not alone in these depths; we have our pod with whom we share both storms and pearls. According to the laws of oceanography, deep currents define the sea. Similarly, our Geography of Grace is found in the depths.

Ronjenje u istinu: Kako sam prestala plivati u plićaku

Svaki put kada otvorim Medium, suočena sam s morem tekstova.

Nezaustavljivi zov dubine

Nismo sami u ovim dubinama; imamo svoje jato s kojim dijelimo i oluje i bisere u našoj zajedničkoj Geografiji milosti.
