The time in-between the collapse of an old world and the birth of a new one is where our true character is forged. In the quiet, reflective spaces of my life in France, I navigated five long years of silence and uncertainty. This phase was more than just waiting. It was a profound internal architecture for a soul learning to exist without the usual markers of success or stability. Understanding the time in-between helps me process how the deepest tectonic shifts eventually lead to a stable, Malachite peace. As a highly sensitive person, I now see those five years as a necessary sediment for my current strength. Within these transitional intervals, the spirit finally finds its authentic rhythm. We move from the shadows of struggle to the clarity of living fully. By waiting, we reclaim our radiant, enduring strength.
Vrijeme između
✦
Vjeru sam lomila i opet obnavljala.
Tijekom tog puta pronašla sam prave ljude.
Stojim. Jaka. Živa.
Sada sam mirna, sretna i zaljubljena.
The Time In-Between
✦
I was gentle and naive, in love without boundaries, believing in people and words that didn’t yet know what trust meant. I loved strongly, stayed when others left, felt pain that was sometimes bigger than myself. I wrote poems to understand the world and myself, to keep my heart through uncertainty and losses.
And then came the time in-between — five years where nothing was certain. Five years of painful solitude, silence that sometimes oppressed and sometimes healed. I broke my faith and renewed it again. I consciously chose every step, every decision, every meditation that led me to a better tomorrow. Every desire for life was an act of courage, because it wasn’t known if tomorrow would come.
Along that path, I found the right people. They didn’t preach to me, didn’t tell me what to do. They let me breathe, decide for myself. They were with me, but without their problems in front of me. Positive, cheerful, brave. I went through everything, emerged from the darkness, and all that remains now is a scar… and peace.
I no longer speak of the past. I stand. Strong. Alive.
Now I am calm, happy, and in love. I write about the beauty of love and nature, because I learned that true strength does not come from the pain I survived, but from the life I decided to live with a full heart.
