We often say that Time Flies, but we forget that we are the ones who steer the flight. Every passing second is like a tiny grain of sand adding to the sediments of our lives. Aging is not the loss of youth. It is the accumulation of wisdom and crystalline moments. I look in the mirror and I see a map of every joy and every storm I have survived. These reflections are precious. They remind us that the present is the only place where we truly exist. We must learn to pause. We must breathe in the beauty of the now before it becomes a memory. Life is a collection of these brief, golden flashes. Cherish the movement of the clock. It is the heartbeat of your own evolution.

Vrijeme leti

✦

Više nisam mlada kao nekada, i to me ponekad boli.

Razumije me jer iskreno govorim o svemu, a i on dijeli moja iskustva.

Time Flies

✦

From the moment I stopped counting my years and paying attention to how many I actually have, increasingly deep thoughts take me back to the past — to the days, people, and events that shaped my life.

I remember childhood games in front of the skyscrapers, the laughter echoing between buildings, and the joy that seemed endless then. Whenever I hear a song from my youth, it immediately takes me back to those carefree days.

Looking in the mirror, I become aware of the changes the years have brought — wrinkles, gray hairs, traces of time. I am no longer as young as I once was, and that sometimes hurts. But I am lucky to have a wonderful husband to share everything with.

I know I cannot avoid old age. I accept it as a natural part of life, but that doesn’t mean I want to stop feeling joy. My years and experiences are a gift — they shaped me into a person who knows, loves, and understands.

“How to find the will to live again, how to open the heart to new joys?”

I return to memories not to escape the present, but to remind myself who I was and who I still am today.
