Mother’s pearl is a symbol of purity. It stays strong through many life challenges. In my journey, I learned a lot. I am a Soul Geologist. I believe the words of our parents are important. They are the foundations of our character.

This poem reflects on the strength of my mother. This strength kept me safe. It protected me through storms and fast rivers. It helped me avoid the shadows of envy. To stay on the path of truth is a great victory. You can learn more about my mission on my About Me page. There, I explain how I combine geology and poetry.

My mother’s advice was simple. She told me to stay on the right path. This path is built with honesty and love. It is made of the minerals of a strong spirit. If you like nature, you can read about the history of pearls. This process mirrors our human growth.

This post is a tribute to all mothers. They gave us the tools to fight darkness. Let this Mother’s pearl remind you of your own light. You carry a quiet power within your heart. On my homepage MAGMASTAR.COM, I share more stories. I write about the soul and memory for my readers.

Mother’s pearl - Magma Star

Majčin biser

Ja sam majčin biser neiskvarenosti —
tako mi je govorila.
I evo, nakon svih ovih godina bez nje,
mogu reći: bila je u pravu.
Prolazila sam kroz život pod udarima bure
i naletima orkanskih vjetrova.
Plivala sam brzim rijekama punim virova,
i nisam potonula.
Moje tijelo i moje srce uvijek su stajali jedno uz drugo.
Čuvali su se, branili,
borili se kao lavovi
protiv svijeta zlobe, nesreće i ljudske zavisti.
Nikada se nisam dala zavesti tamom tuđih plašteva
niti kvariti prirodu života u sebi.
Išla sam dalje onako kako me rijeka nosila,
a ja sam u sebi nosila majčine riječi:

puta pravde, istine i ljubavi.”
I danas, kad god zastanem,

Mother’s Pearl

I am my mother’s pearl of innocence —
that is what she used to tell me.
And here, after all these years without her,
I can say: she was right.
I went through life under the blows of the bura
and gusts of hurricane winds.
I swam in fast rivers full of whirlpools,
and I did not sink.
My body and my heart always stood by each other.
They protected each other, defended,
fought like lions
against the world of malice, misfortune, and human envy.
I never let myself be seduced by the darkness of others’ cloaks
nor corrupt the nature of life within me.
I went on as the river carried me,
surrendering to God’s force to keep me safe.
When ugly things happened in my life,
I let God handle them instead of me,
and I carried my mother’s words within me:

“Sanja, always be on the right path.
Do not let anyone move you from it —
the path of justice, truth, and love.”
And today, whenever I pause,
I feel her hand on my shoulder.
Her voice does not demand, does not shout —
it just stands in me like an indelible seal.
For a mother’s word is a quiet strength with which I still walk.
