Them and me are like parallel lines in a vast universe. We move in the same direction but rarely touch. In the quiet, poetic air of France, I reflected on these paths. Some people left a permanent mark on my soul. Others simply passed through like shadows. This realization is more than just a thought. It is a profound internal architecture for my spirit. Every departure helped me process the tectonic shifts of my life. As a sensitive soul, I keep old loves in a box of wishes. I found beauty in the erosion of our shared time. This process led me to a stable, Malachite peace. Understanding the space between them and me gives me clarity. Within these silent intervals, the spirit finally finds its rhythm.
Oni i Ja

Them and I
Of course they exist, truly countless. I laugh when I think of them, but that laughter hides a deep and silent pain. There were people in my life who left a deep and lasting mark.
I don’t often think of them, but sometimes a face unexpectedly appears in my mind for a brief moment, often when I see a shared hug or hear a laugh that once reflected on my own face.
Sometimes I recall certain scenes from the past, but those memories are like days gone by that I quickly leave behind, like a ship leaving the harbor without looking back.
When I leave, I smile through teary eyes, say nothing, but clearly hear their words: “Safe journey, keep in touch.” Deep inside, I know they understand that I will never return.
They and I continue to exist as two parallel lines that may never cross. We do not talk or meet, but deep inside I know that sometimes they and I think of the shared days.
I feel their silent anger at my decision to leave, but they do not know that I have kept them in my box full of beautiful wishes for their future. I still love them, even though I erased them from my daily world.
